People have become used to YouTube being free to use, and of course the videos are free to upload and watch, but they’re not free to make. Behind the scenes there is a huge amount of time, effort and money involved in the creation of our productions.
We appreciate adverts are a pain to have to sit through and we understand why people skip them and why more and more folks are using ad-blockers, but unfortunately this blocks essential revenue from reaching creators and compounds the problem.
Over the last few years, we have been compelled to start looking at how we can keep our material freely available on YouTube, to continue to help the most vulnerable people, but still keep things viable for the longer term.
