ELVES:

In these guided meditations, we will take you on a journey that will allow you to experience a different world – a place now lost to myth. Or so they say. There are legends that tell of beings who once existed and indeed co-existed with humankind; ageless, beautiful and yet still feeling the sorrows and joys every person knows. They were (and are) our ancient kin, but long ago, it is said, they passed into another reality, close as the thickness of a shadow, accessible by a thought, a dream on the edge of sleeping or awaking. Books were written, drawing on the tales of this mythical race. Fantasy films and games were made. All of them carry a few grains of the truth. But not all of it. Perhaps you, traveling into this realm of legend, will discover the truth and make your own stories.

TRACK1: Introduction (04:40)

A short thank you message from The Honest Guys and a brief overview of how the album is structured.

TRACK2: The Company of Elves (18:27)

In this guided visualization you will journey through the rich woods of autumn to a meeting with the Elves who roam this land. You will see them passing through the woods, gleaming like a moonlit mist, something out of myth. But here, they are real, and will welcome you among them.

TRACK 3: The Halls of the Elven King (20:15)

Deep in an ancient forest the Elven King dwells with his people. They are elusive, and rarely seen. In this guided visualization you may walk into the great halls, carved from the earth in older times, and see the King. Few from the outside world have ever been here.

TRACK 4: Return to the Valley of the Elves (33:34)

Waterfalls trail like mist down steep-sided cliffs and below them in the valley the Elves dwell as they have for thousands of years. Walk among the graceful buildings, listen to song, and rest in an enchanted place hidden from the world.

TRACK 5: The Journey into the West (23:13)

It is said that there is a land beyond the sea, an ancient home of the Elves who sail from these shores as the world grows old. Few are those who have ever gone with them on their last journey, or witnessed their departure.

TRACK 6: Lament for the Ancient Homestead (by Rick Clarke) (03:58)

This harp music was specially written for the 'Return to the Valley of the Elves' meditation, so we thought it appropriate to include it on the album.
